We are now in 2024 and Synology have not fixed this, it's pathetic! I run several NAS units for clients, and today we are doing some house cleaning, trying to clear up old disused folders, no matter which PC we delete them on, they come back a few minutes later, so I logged into the DSM on the NAS and did it directly, they still come back, I don't understand how this has not been addressed in all the years Synology have had to resolve it. I'm sure there used to be a setting asking about retrieving deleted files, but I cannot see that option anymore in DSM. Has anyone found a workaround for this? Thanks guys.
