Retail design is the process and technique of designing the layout, graphics, and presentation of products for sale in retail stores. Retail designers are responsible for creating a look, feel, and function that represents a particular product line or category within a store. They work with suppliers to create displays that represent a product line or category, select furnishings and fixtures that compliment the design scheme, develop marketing campaigns to promote products within the store's inventory ,and create layouts which take into account customer traffic patterns .Typically having an undergraduate degree in graphic design or another related field is required for this position.
